Your introduction to Cartagena will begin with the historic San Felipe Castle, The Monastery of La Popa and take in the panoramic views of principal neighborhoods of Cartagena. From there you will take a 20 minute walk to the most important squares in colonial town. Located in the old city Cartagena you will begin your outing from the downtown area where you will go to Manga neighborhood. Here you will easily appreciate the beautiful mansions built at the beginning if the 20th Century.

Continue to the highest part of the city where there is a convent dating back to the beginning of the 17th Century and a nice panoramic view of the whole city. You will then travel to visit San Felipe de Barajas Fortress which is considered the most important fortification in South America.

Your tour will continue to the walled city where we take a walking tour visiting the different squares of the city such as Santo Domingo Square, Bolivar Square, Los Coches Square, and Aduana Square and admire the old colonial houses filled with history and legend. Your last stop will be by the modern area of Cartagena; Bocagrande, Laguito and Castillo Grande.
