With a little instruction you will soon be enjoying the thrill of hitting fast moving clay targets in a safe environment.On the activity day you meet your shooting instructor to run through the basics of gun handling and safety, establish your eye dominance and select a suitable gun for you.
You can then have some practice shots at different clay pigeon target presentations with full instruction; your instructor is by your side all the time to keep you safe and help you hit those flying clays. Finally you will finish with a bit of friendly competition of who will take home the winner's certificate.
Clay shooting is an exciting sport where the thrill of hitting the target is rewarded by a shattered clay, a fantastic feeling whether it's your first clay or you're a seasoned pro.
The shooting school is private and has a good variety of targets available for instruction. It is situated in the beautiful Blackmore Vale near Shaftesbury in Dorset and operates daily. Your qualified shooting instructor is a member of the Association of Professional Shooting Instructors and the Guild of Shooting Instructors.
