Full-day trip to the tranquil seaside town of Essaouira. Perched on the Atlantic coast, Essaouira is a fortified seaside town full of character with a bustling fishing port, a UNESCO World Heritage Site medina, lively art/café scene and a tranquil atmosphere. Earning its name in the 1960’s as the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley found the windswept beaches of Essaouira it has since become a place well known for being uniquely chilled out, with architectural, cultural and sporting significance.Set off from Marrakech with your friendly multilingual driver for the approximate 2.5-hours drive to Essaouira in your air-conditioned car, fitted with WIFI, tablet and mineral water, taking in the scenery and famous landmarks along the way.

Arriving in Essaouira you can take a deep relaxing breath and have ample time to explore all the town has to offer at your leisure. Set within 18th century sea walls studded with cannons and watchtowers, its blue and white architecture sets it apart from the ‘Red City’.

Its vibrant fishing harbor and long windy beaches make it the perfect place to sample some of the fishermen's catch at the seafood restaurants or stroll along the beach watching kite and windsurfers.

If you feel like a walk, you can walk around the city walls taking in the views of the Atlantic from the watchtowers or meander in the medina visiting the various craft shops and women’ cooperatives that run the market sector on the world famous Moroccan Argan Oil.

Your driver will take you back to Marrakech later in the afternoon.
