Enjoy a day of intermediate level mountain hiking in the northern suburbs of Lhasa and visit famous Sera Monastery to appreciate Tibetan architecture and its renowned "Monks' Debate." This private one day trekking adventure has the winning recipe that is perfect for avid hikers!At 8:30am, your local Tibetan hiking guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel and set out for a day of mountain trekking. You will start from a Sera Utsé Hermitage at the foot of Sera Mountain for a pleasant 6-hour uphill hike to Sera Monastery. Along the way, take a short break for lunch to enjoy the food and beverages you prepared for the trip and the aerial view. You will arrive at Sera Monastery at approximately 3pm.

In the afternoon, explore Sera Monastery, one of the three famous Gelugpa (Yellow Hat Sect) monasteries in Lhasa, to appreciate its architecture as well as its famous "Monks Debate" on Buddhism which happens in the afternoon from Monday to Saturday. You will stay at the monastery till 5pm and your driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Lhasa where this lovely hiking adventure concludes.

Itinerary:

• Hotel pickup at 9am. Hiking starts from 9:30am and ends at 3:00pm at Sera Monastery.
• Explore Sera Monastery from 3pm to 5pm
