Take a moment to visit La pointe du Hoc before returning to Paris by minivan.Start your tour with a pickup from your Paris hotel at 7:30am and begin the 3-hour drive. The English-speaking guide will escort you in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan, either a Mercedes Viano or VW Caravelle model, to the Normany Landing Beaches. While en route, your guide will stop at a motorway so that you may enjoy some refreshments. For your first stop, head to one of the most emblematic places in Normandy, where a small group of rangers managed to take a German battery strategically placed on top of a cliff.
From there, the tour continues through Omaha beach and its monuments such as the one dedicated to the members of the National Guard who landed with the 29th division in 1944, the very first American cemetery in Normandy and the memorial called "The Braves". The next part will be at the cemetery, where you will see the visitor's center and museum as well as the different plots of Colleville cemetery. Continue on to Arromanches and finally, Juno Beach. At the end of your tour, return to your Paris accommodations.
