You will learn from a famous Sichuan cuisine chef and get a certificate after completion of the class. At 7:30 am, your guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and drive to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Base which is about 30 minutes drive away from Chengdu as panda bears are more active in the morning. Explore the base and see those lovely giant pandas, red pandas, and black swans...etc.

At 11:00am, you will drive about 1.5 hours to Sichuan Cuisine Museum where an English speaking master chef will teach you how to cook your own Sichuan food step by step. You will taste your own masterpiece of cooking for lunch. Afterwards, your guide will show you around the museum to see antique cooking tools and stencils, farm tools, and machines.

You will also be introduced to the production of "Pixian Dou Ban" which is the most important base sauce for Sichuan cuisine. A hands-on experience of planting vegetables will be available to you, too. During the five-hour visit to the museum, you will be also trying a few Sichuan comfort food such as dumplings and cold noodles. Your trip will end at 4pm and drive back to your hotel in Chengdu where the tour is concluded.
