You also get to see Blagaj, Počitelj, Kravice and Međugorje, making this a comprehensive tour fit for people who want to experience a perfect day in a lovely region of our country.Start the day by exploring Mostar, the biggest and most famous city in Herzegovina. After pick up from your hotel/accommodation, you will visit the Old Town and learn about is rich and turbulent history. You also get to see the famous Old Bridge, and if you have a bit of luck, you will see one of the divers perform a jump! After the Old Town, go back to your vehicle and start your journey outside of Herzegovina's main town.

The first stop in your journey today is in Blagaj, located some 10 km from Mostar. Blagaj was the capital of Herzegovina during medieval times, and today is one of the most important Muslim pilgrimage sites in the country. You will visit its main attraction, the 16th century tekke – a dervish monastery. It is located on the source of the river Buna, meaning the water is drinkable and cold, perfect for refreshment on a hot day, while providing the tekke with a unique setting.

After enjoying the charm of Blagaj, continue your journey south and visit Počitelj.

Built on a rocky cliff sloping steeply down to the bank of the Neretva River, Počitelj is one of the most picture-perfect architectural ensembles in Bosnia and Herzegovina.  Architecturally, the surviving stone-built parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution may be observed: medieval and Ottoman. The most iconic building is the Gavran Capetan tower, built between 15th and 18th century and the Hadži Alija Mosque from 16th century, which is ‘one of the finest achievements of the classical Ottoman style of single-room domed mosques in BiH’ according to UNESCO.

Next you move to Kravice, for rest and relaxation. Kravice waterfalls are a real gem on the river Trebižat, and is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the beauty that nature can offer. The brave ones can even cool off by taking a swim in the clear, cold water under the waterfalls.

Your final stop for the day is in Međugorje. Since 1981, it has become a popular site of religious pilgrimage due to reports of apparitions of the Virgin Mary to six local Catholic children. Međugorje has grown to become one of the largest  Catholic pilgrimage sites in the world, attracting around a million pilgrims a year. Before you start exploring the area around the st. James church, take a lunch break to replenish your energy. Visit the church area and learn the story of the children to whom the Virgin Mary appears and if you want, you can even climb the Apparition Hill – the location where the original events transpired in 1981.

You return to Mostar in the afternoon.
