Apon arrival in Toucari, you'll meet with your guide, who will get you set up with your stand-up paddleboard or kayak and snorkeling gear.

Toucari Beach is fairly secluded and less popular than Champagne Beach in the south of Dominica, but it has the same incredible volcanic underwater bubbles. It has a dark sand beach with coral-covered rocks jutting from the calm aquamarine Caribbean water. Golden crinoids, batfish, electric rays, lionfish, angelfish, Caribbean reef squid, sea urchins, and sea turtles are among the long list of undersea inhabitants you are likely to encounter.

Start out with snorkeling along the southern end of the bay and around the point to Toucari Cave. Depending on the time of day, it could be filled with bats! Continue on your paddle boards towards Prince Rupert Bay, or head north towards the shipwreck (rumored to be the remains of a WWI German vessel). Paddling up the coast, you will pass the Toucari River and several beautiful rock formations and excellent snorkeling spots that are ideal for underwater photography. On the way back to Toucari, visit the underwater bubbles and finish your tour with a relaxing grilled fish lunch served on the beach.
