The stop will be in Zaanse Schans with the characteristic village of windmills, there the group will visit a clog-maker and will see the demonstration of the realization, then will taste and discover the cheese factory where cheese is still made in the traditional way.
This area used to be an industrial area where many windmills were used for many different purposes. Only a few windmills survived and are restored to their original function. There is an oil mill, a paint mill and a spice mill. Besides the windmills, the Zaanse Schans is full of traditional green-timbered houses and warehouses.
