Full Day private tour includes 5 highlights (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome Square, Grand Bazaar) in Istanbul. At 8:30am your guide will be ready at the port with your name on a sign (If you want to be picked up earlier or later please confirm 24 hours prior to the tour date).
After greeting, there will be a 15 to 20 minute drive to Topkapi Palace which was not only the residence of the Ottoman sultans, but also the administrative and educational center of the state. It was constructed between 1460 and 1478 by Sultan Mehmed II, the conqueror of Constantinople. Your Topkapi visit will take around 120 minutes . Then you'll walk to Hagia Sophia to visit, and this will take around 30 minutes. Then onwards to the Blue Mosque to visit for around 20 minutes. The last stop in Sultanahmet will be the Ancient Hippodrome. After the Hippodrome, there will be a lunch break (own expense) in Sultanahmet.
After the lunch break, the group will head over to the Grand Bazaar for around 60 to 75 minutes free time in one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world. There are more than 58 covered streets and over 1,200 shops; it's well known for its jewellery, pottery, spice, and carpet shops.
Arrival back to the port will be around 4.30pm (depending on traffic). This 8 hour trip includes a personal & professional tour guide, entrance fees to the sites and air-conditioned transportation by Mercedes van.
