Kanheri Caves are a group of rock - cut ancient caves located in Borivali in Mumbai. To reach there you will pass through the green forests of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. The caves are located deep inside about 6 km from the entrance of national Park. . It will offer you a pleasant break from the pollution and the noisy, metropolitan life. The Kanheri Caves are also known as the 'lungs of Mumbai', because this is the only place in the city with the maximum amount of greenery and a lot of fresh air.
