Visit the magical site of Machu Picchu in this one day private tour.Your pick-up at your Hotel weill be at 5am and you will be traken to the train station in Ollantaytambo (1 hour 30 min drive).
At 7:20am take the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes (2 hour drive).
Arriving to Aguas Calientes awaits a shuttle to take you by bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu (20 minute drive).
Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial (the most important Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, houses, cellars, one large central square, and all connected by narrow roads and steps that are surrounded by cut into the mountainside terraces.
After the tour you will have free time to visit Machu Picchu on your own.
At a reasonable hour take the bus back to Aguas Calientes.
4:12pm board the train to return to Ollantaytambo and from there by car to Cusco.
Estimated time of arrival at 8pm; Cusco transfer to Hotel.
