Do you want to go for a bike ride in or near NYC, but don’t know where to go? Maybe you’ve heard about a really cool place to ride, but you have no idea how to get there, or you’re worried you’ll get in a little over your head with the distance involved. Let us take you on a custom day ride! These rides are great if you are looking to get out of the city and explore some place outside of Manhattan.
We know all about the great places to ride in the NYC Metro region. And we can put any type of ride together for you and your group, no matter what you want to do. Do a ride with a guide who will escort you throughout the whole day and show you all there is to see. Or do a ride with vehicle support and have us available to pick you up whenever you’re done, bring you snacks and water and help you out with mechanical trouble. Our guides have extensive knowledge of bicycling in and near the NY Metro Area, and we can give you the exact ride you are looking for. You can even rent a bike if you don’t have one. We’ll bring the bike to the start point and take it away at the end. Minimum hassle!
Guided rides – Go out for a day ride with your friends or family on a personally guided ride. Bring your own bike or rent one. These rides depart from anywhere in NYC and can be as long or as short as you want. Go for a ride to any destination in the 5 Boroughs using the city’s bike paths. Check out cool places like Coney Island or the Rockaways. Or head up to the Bronx at get a fabulous meal on City Island or Arthur Avenue (restaurants not included in price). You can even get out of the city and try a guided ride along the historic Old Croton Aqueduct in Westchester.
Supported rides – Test your limits and go for a ride that’s further away. Do that ride to Bear Mountain you’ve always wanted to try. Check out the “Old Put” trail. Ride out to a beach on Long Island. Do a day ride to a winery. Check out the D&R Canal Path. Ride through the (flat) Pine Barrens of New Jersey. Ride with the confidence of knowing that somebody has your back the entire time, ready to refuel you with snacks and beverages, and ready to help you if your bike breaks down. End the ride whenever you want and get a lift back to your starting point or to a train back to the city.
