Your own private guide will ensure that you get an in-depth experience. 6am - Pick-up - You will be picked-up and take a 3-hour drive to Agra via Yamuna Express Highway.
9am - Arrive in Agra and your tour guide will meet you at a hotel lobby.
9:30am - Taj Mahal - First you will visit Taj Mahal, the world's best-known tomb standing a testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal is closed every Friday)
11:30am - The Agra Fort - You will continue to visit this red-sandstone monument, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. Inside this elegant fort reflects an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central-Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
1pm - Lunch Break - Lunch will be provided at one of the best local restaurants.
3pm - Shopping - You can spend this time shopping in Agra, a city known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and soft-stone. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are: leather-ware, brass-ware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work.
6pm – Delhi drop-off - You will drive back to Delhi, and be dropped-off by 9:30PM.
