The tour starts with pickup at your hotel in Mexico City. The first stop is a panoramic view of " Tlatelolco " where the ancient and modern Mexico meet in "La Plaza of Three Cultures ". Then you'll head to the Sanctuary of Guadalupe which is the most important religious site in Mexico. After lunch ( not included), visit the Great Teotihuacan Pyramids where you will have a walk with a private guide who will share myths, stories and history of this ancient site. You have some free time to climb the pyramids before heading back to your hotel.
Day 2: Xochimilco and Coyoacan with Frida Kahlo
Leaving your hotel you will head to Xochimilco and pass through the university town with its library with mosaic murals of Juan O'Gorman and the Olympic Stadium. Reach the canals of Xochimilco, one of the last vestiges of the ancient landscape of the city of Mexico and enjoy a relaxing, scenic journey on a traditional " trajinera". Then, you will visit the impressive colonial district of Coyoacan and have a chance to visit the Frida Kahlo museum before heading back to your hotel.
