Tour castles, cathedrals, shops, and monuments along with the Tagus River.After getting picked up from your central Lisbon hotel, head to the São Jorge Castle for your first stop. There, you will see the oldest archaeological vestiges of Lisbon and take in the medieval environment. Take in amazing panoramic views of the city and attain a better understanding of the landscape of the region. Then, get into the sounds, smells and beauty of ancient alleyways full of memories. Visit one of the most secret and beautiful churches in Lisbon. Stroll through the ancient Alfama neighborhood and learn of how multiple cultures influenced history. You will also be invited to admire Italian influence in Portuguese art, in S. Vicente de Fora Church. Finally, head to Comércio Square, touched by the Tagus River. Over the course of the day, you will be able to enjoy fresh lemonade, pastel de belem, and even buy handicrafts.

Stop for lunch (at own expense), then make your way to the Tile Museum that showcases the art of ceramic tile making and keeps the best examples of these Portuguese art. Then, comfortably drive through the city streets before arriving at Baixa. Tour the area, then move on to Principe Real and Bairro Alto. Move on to S. Roque Church, including its museum, where some of Europe’s greatest treasures are kept. Head downhill to Chiado for a short peek at their local shops before visiting Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (Jeronimos Monastery). Finish your tour at Tagus River mouth, next to the Torre de Belém, the symbol of the city and of Portuguese nationality. Head back to your accommodations at the end of the day.
