Enjoy a full day tour with the Beaujolais area and its wine, and the Dombes area with its food and heritage
Begin your tour with the discovery of the "Crus du Beaujolais": you will climb to the top of the Mont Brouilly, highest hill in the district, to enjoy the panorama. There you will learn more about the secrets of the stones and the concept of "Terroir". Then you will visit a winemaker, and taste his wine.
After free time for lunch (own expense) in a typical town (your guide will advise you of some good restaurants), you will drive to the Dombes area, well known for its delightful roads surrounded by many ponds. Visit the medieval town of Perouges, where you will enjoy a nice break with the tasting of a famous local cake.
At the end of your tour, you will enjoy a free time to stroll around in the old streets made of cobblestones, before heading back to Lyon.
