Jackson Hole Wyoming is home to some of the most fantastic trout streams in the lower 48 states. This full day private fishing float will give you the option of fishing on the Snake River, Green River, and Salt Rivers. The choice of river is completely based on your personal preference. Experienced anglers and beginners welcome, fly fish or spin cast too! Start your full-day fishing trip with a pick up from either your Jackson or Teton Village accommodation. If you had not a fishing license already, your guide will be more than happy to stop for one on the way to the river. Before heading on the river, your guide will give you a safety briefing, as well as a skill review. Choose from either the Snake River, Green River, or Salt River to do your fishing. The Snake River is a relatively high volume, very braided river flowing out of Yellowstone Park, through Grand Teton, and continuing south through the heart of Jackson Hole.

The Green and Salt Rivers are both a lower volume, more technical river with large trout holding under banks and debris. Sometimes a little more work to get into these fish, but the payoffs are worth it, with a very good chance at trout over 2 inches in length. Brown and rainbow trout are common on the Green, cutthroat and brown trout will be found on the Salt River. Though the tour operator will provide you with fishing equipment, including 5/6 wt 9 foot fly rods, you are more than welcome to bring your own equipment as well.

The ride will be in float fishing format with 2 anglers and one guide per drift boat. Anglers will fish as the boat drifts under direction of your guide, with some opportunities to get out of the boat and wade as well. Enjoy a fresh picnic lunch stream-side before getting back into the water for more fishing. Practice catch and release fishing before heading back to your accommodations in the evening.
