In fact, Malaysia is home to approximately 370 species of edible fruit! So join this half-day tour to the Tropical Fruit Farm where even the fussiest of eaters are sure to find something to enjoy! Visit Penang’s only Tropical Fruit Farm located in Teluk Bahang, perched on a hill slope overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Take a guided farm tour and learn about 140 species of local and regional tropical fruits. Take the opportunity to taste the various tropical fruits in season.

After that, we will visit a Batik Factory. Batik is a wax-resistant dyeing technique used on textile. Penang Batik Factory is one of the pioneers of batik manufacturing on the island and established in 1973, it is set in Teluk Bahang, the complex is divided into three sections: an art gallery, boutique, and workshop.

Surrounded by lots of tropical greenery, it is one of Penang’s well known sightseeing spots and offers a wide variety of quality batik, from block print batiks to hand-drawn pieces. At the Penang Batik Factory, unlike the usual one-sided print, each piece features patterns and colors on both sides of the fabric.

Next, visit the century old, 72-acre Penang Botanical Garden located at the foot of Penang Hill. This garden has been transformed from an old granite quarry site way back in 1884 into the present unique and lush greenery beautiful garden. Stroll through a rich collection of tropical flora and fauna. You will be greeted by long tail Macaque monkeys, who make these gardens their kingdom. If you are lucky, you can spot a ring eyed monkey, who wears a pair of spectacles.
