After a pickup from your Tel Aviv hotel at your chosen start time, board your private vehicle and let your guide know the sights you want to see; your itinerary is customizable.

Perhaps begin in Old Jaffa, just outside Tel Aviv. Dating back some 4,000 years, the age-old port is from where Jonah reputedly set sail in a New Testament tale. See the fishing boats and explore the atmospheric lanes of faded houses and artisan’s workshops. Then, see landmarks such as St Peter’s Church and the Clock Tower.

Enjoy lunch (own expense) before you tour modern Tel Aviv. View the palm-dotted promenade, and head to Rothschild Boulevard to see Independence Hall, where the State of Israel was declared in 1948. Visit the city museum, explore Neve Tsedek district or stroll through the UNESCO-listed White City area with its Bauhaus architecture.

Later, visit Jaffa’s Nalagaat Center, a theater-restaurant complex run by blind and deaf artistes. Attend a show followed by dinner (own expense) in the dark restaurant, or join a pottery or wine-tasting workshop (additional cost). Your then tour ends at your Tel Aviv hotel.

Please note: Nalagaat Center is only open on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Visits are only guaranteed if you book three weeks in advance of your travel date. Make a note in the ‘Special Requirements’ field when you book.
