Walk in the footsteps of the famous English writer Peter Mayle, author of the bestseller "A year in Provence" on this full day tour in the regional park of Luberon where he lived and wrote. Discover the villages where he used to stay, the amazing provençal landscapes and lifestyle, markets and cobblestone streets, a journey in the heart of Provence. Your day will start with a drive along the national park of Luberon listed by Unesco as world park heritage. The first stop takes place in Lourmarin, an authentic and charming village where Peter used to live while he was writing his novel. Free time at leisure to discover the place, you could for example visit the 18th century castle or Albert Camus' tomb at the cemetery. There is also a charming market on Fridays.

Next, drive through the hilltop village of Bonnieux, Pont Julien Roman Bridge and Lacoste, the Marquee de Sade's village, a secret place filled with history. On the way you will see the Provençal bastide where the movie was made, as well as lavender fields, cherry and olive trees (especially beautiful during the blossom season)

Then on to Roussillon, the Ocher village listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France. Market on Thursdays. Free time at leisure to walk around the village of walk along the Ocher path, a 35-minute walk in an ancient open air ocher quarry, also known as the 'Provençal Colorado'.

The next visit takes place in Gordes, a medieval village listed by UNESCO. Photo stop over the village and free time at leisure to visit the church, cobbled stone streets and village or castle. Lunch at leisure in the village.
