One day trip in one of the most beautiful and spectacular places in
Beijing: Shidu Natural Park. It is the only large-scale karst landform
in northern China and also the largest natural scenic spots. No doubt,
it is a place worth visiting! This is one of those places where you will
instantly fall in love with nature. During this trip, you will also
visit Shidu Juma Garden (it's open from end of Match until end of Oct

At 7:30am, your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Beijing downtown, and drive to Shidu Scenic Spot.( approx. 2.5 hours). Shidu is located along the middle-upper reaches of Juma River in Fangshan District, 100 km from the downtown Beijing. There are 10 river bends along the river; hence the name Shidu means “10 ferry crossings” in Chinese.
Shidu is the most typical canyon full of karst, ridges and peaks and is the closest to the capital city and unique in the northern part. The canyon features 12 marvelous geological sites such as natural “Stone Buddha”, “Flied over Stone”, ”One Line Sky”, “Buddha” character of the dragon mountain, “Water Flowing Up”, ”Stone in the Stone” and so forth. Here, you can do hiking, rafting, horsing, eat local specialty foods and enjoy the natural beauty.
You will enjoy the lunch in a local restaurant there. Afterwards your driver will take you back to your hotel.
