Experience the sights of Ubud on this private full day tour from your Bali accommodation. Your tour includes a private vehicle with driver and a full tank of fuel. You will be able to see some of Ubud’s best attractions and activities including the famous barong dance, wood carving, a traditional Balinese Village, monkey forest and a coffee plantation. Starting at 8:30am you will be picked up from your accommodation by your friendly driver/guide.

9:30am - You will see the secret and famous barong dance
The Barong Dance is an exciting dance with a giant lion (Barong) played by two people symbolizing the good. When the Barong dance is performed, they show both good vs evil. Rangda symbolises the bad and both Barong and Rangda are always up against each other. Rangda is a woman with a hair raising face who always wants to spread a bad influence to everyone, however Barong always rescues the moment.

10:30am - Visit the art village (Batik, handmade Celuk Gold & Silver, wood carving)
Celuk Village provides the production of gold and silver crafting and is known to be very proactive and full of innovation. This area is located in the sub-district of Sukawati, Gianyar Regency. Most of the Balinese people are professional, artistic and skilful of design development related to the silver and gold crafting.

1:00pm - Explore Central Ubud, King Palace and the Monkey Forest
Enjoy a lunch near Ubud at a local restaurant (lunch not included). The location of the Monkey Forest is in the heart of the Ubud Village with beautiful souvenir shops along the road and just a step away from the Ubud Art market. The small tropical Ubud Monkey Forest is based on the local residents believing that these monkeys are protecting the forest. There is a Hindu Temple located in the corner of forest full of huge and high tropical trees. All of the monkeys are tame and dwell this forest together in their family groups.

3:00pm - Arrive at Coffee Luwak Plantation
Coffee Luwak is known to be one of the most expensive coffees in the world. It is coffee made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet and other related civets, then passed through its digestive tract. Other crops grown in this area include coffee, vanilla, cloves, and cacao. You will be shown the coffee-making process before being able to taste different coffee, tea and cocoa drinks. All are free except for Coffee Luwak.

6:30pm – You will head back to you accommodation
