Meet your guide in front of Vilnius City Hall and wind down the narrow Old Town streets to the first panoramic view of the tour, from St.Casimirus Street. Here you will see Vilnius‘ green hills and Uzupis district which you will visit on the tour. From the Bastion of Vilnius City wall panoramic site you can count all of the Old Town churches and their different religions.

Then you will head down, cross the creek and enter the Independent Republic of Uzupis which is settled in a district beloved by local artisans, craftsmen and Bohemians. In the beginning of the tour you will have to get acquainted with the Constitution of the Republic declared in 18 different languages. In the Uzupis district you will visit an Art Incubator, the Square of Tibet, Church of Bartholomew, two monuments of the same uncrowned Duke and the specific courtyards. At the end of tour you will climb to Bekesas hill where you can see all of Vilnius‘ in a panoramic view: the Old town lying at the bottom, a modern style city set on the other bank of River Neris and Soviet style districts visible up on the green hills. The tour finishes near the Gothic St. Ann‘s church and the monument to the famous Lithuanian and Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz.
