Discover the fragrant spices and unique Chinese and Peranakan influences of Malaysian cuisine with a cooking class at the Tropical Spice Garden. Learn some great skills you can take home to your friends and family!

This unique experience begins by paying a visit to the Tanjung Bungah wet market where you will be shown our local morning market activities like the selling and buying of fresh food, vegetable and spices for cooking and the numerous hawker stalls selling local breakfast.

After that, proceed to Batu Ferringhi for a tour of the Tropical Spice Garden, planted with over 500 species of tropical plants, spices and herbs - many of which are needed daily in our kitchen. The Malaysian cooking lesson will be conducted by local award-winning chef in a specially designed kitchen overlooking the clear view of the Straits of Malacca leading to the Andaman Sea.

Afterwards you get to enjoy the Malaysian dishes you help cooked and bring the taste of Malaysia home.
