Your first stop will be in Pisa to admire the Leaning tower, built in 1174. Make a stop for about 30-45 minutes with the ability to have time available to take pictures of the famous leaning tower. Next, drive through the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside to get to Sangimignano.
You will be dropped off in front of the main gate of San Gimignano. This tiny village, a U.N.E.S.C.O. site of Italy, is famous for its medieval architecture and for the towers that where, when were built in the middle age, the expression of power and richness of the major families of the city. It is also known as the Manhatthan of the middle age because of its skyline. The Duomo of Sangimignano, is another magnificent example of medieval art.
