Visit a local market in a non touristic neighborhood, choose your cheese and wine and enjoy a home cooking class where everyone will be involved preparing the menu in a Nice downtown local's apartment.
In a non-touristic neighborhood, start your tour with a walk through the very typical "Marché de la Libération", where farmers display their fresh and organic products. You can talk to them and ask about their products. You will be introduced to typical Mediterranean products: fruits, vegetables, fish and cheeses.
Then you will choose your meal ingredients and go to your guide's home for a wonderful "Cuisine Niçoise cooking experience" where everyone will be involved preparing the menu. Depending on the season, different menus are available, but all with Provencal flavor. The menu is the same for all guests but you will be able to choose your cheese and your wine on the spot.
When everything is ready, you just need to enjoy the meal. In case your stomach has no room enough for the dessert, don't worry, you can take it away.
After the lunch, return back to your hotel in a minivan with A/C.
