A tour of Nevis is a must. In the 1700's it became known as the "Queen of the Caribees". Your visitation will include the following: The "Thermal Springs" became famous for its medicinal treatments. A 10-minute visit one will experience the warmth of such magnitude. You will continue onto Montpelier Estate which houses the Botanical Gardens ($10 entrance fee) upon arrival. On this estate Fanny Nisbet and Horation Nelson got married. The Inn also accommodated the British Royalties such as Prince William (the Sailor King) who was the best man for Lord Nelson. Princess Diana and Prince William also visited.

We continue on to Hermitage Plantation, the oldest structure in the Caribbean, you will be allowed to see the Carriage and Great Houses, furniture, artifacts, dining wares and the restored chattel houses. Another historical site is the Golden Rock Hotel which was opened in 1950. It was built on the site of an old windmill which presently accommodates a honeymoon suite and cottages. As the tour continues we drive through the Nisbit Plantation a beautiful five star hotel and then into Charlestown the capital of Nevis with a stop at either Admiral Horatio Nelson (British) or Alexander Hamilton (American) Museum (entrance fee $5.00). Whilst in Charlestown you can take the opportunity to purchase gift items and visit our local cuisine before returning to your hotel.
