On arrival in NY our first stop will be the 911 Memorial. Some of our travelers will want to spend the day at the Museum. Tonight we travel to Dyker Heights in Brooklyn where yearly, the residents of Dyker Heights compete for the biggest, and brightest Christmas decorations. In addition to over-the-top Christmas lights, there are huge inflatable Christmas decorations, and motorized displays. Dinner included.
Day 2: Our day begins with breakfast and our famous Taste of New York Tour. We will start on the upper West Side with a visit to Zabars famous for more then 300 cheeses you can taste, smoked fish and a European style bakery. The second floor is filled with kitchen gadgets. Our next stop is Dillon’s where you will find the candy you remember as a kid. You might want to sample an old fashion soda at the soda counter. This morning we have tickets to see the Radio City Christmas Special with the Rocketttes followed by a back stage tour. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 3: Enjoy a narrated Circle Island cruise past the Statue of Liberty. The remainder of the day is free to shop, explore the 911 Museum or enjoy the many attractions of New York City.
The tour ends when we return to our departure point.
