With over 15 million square meters of public green and of 300km of trees, crowned by the hills and crossed by four rivers, Torino is a sort of unique city in Italy and Europe. The 3-hour ride features a 28 km tour along cycle paths and easy dirt roads in the green, a relaxing and safe route suitable for kids.Nestled in a plain at the foot of the Alps, surrounded by rivers, parks and hills, Torino seduced the great French architect Le Courbusier, who called it "a city with a perfectly balanced natural environment".

The tour starts from the historical Valentino Park, pedaling along paths bordered with gardens and reach the Borgo Medioevale, a full-sized reconstruction of a typical medieval village from the XV Century, built for the Grand Exposition of 1884. Nearby is the Fontana delle Quattro Stagioni, a monumental Rococò fountain whose waters falls into a semi-elliptical basin adorned by four colossus representing the Seasons, and decorated by twelve statues symbolising the Months of the year. Further ahead you'll enter the beautiful Giardino Roccioso, the Rocky Garden, then finally arrive at the Valentino Castle, a stunning XVII Century Royal Residence declared UNESCO World Heritage.

Say hello to Valentino Park and continue the tour following the river Po through the Murazzi banks, the old port of Torino, towards the Borgo Po district and the Dora river, the entrance door to the wild Colletta Park, one of the largest in the city. Keep pedaling along the blue river shores and reach the village of San Mauro, set between the waters and the hills. It is the perfect spot for an ice cream or a cappuccino break.

Return to Torino following the Meisino Natural Reservation on the opposite side of the river Po, an easy dirty road trail very popular amongst leisure cyclists. Pass over country fields at the foot of the hills and enjoy the view of Superga Grand Church on top, before reaching the monument dedicated to the great rider Fausto Coppi, the Champion of Champions. Back in town, a short but steep ascent takes you to a panoramic terrace and the end point of your tour.
