Leave Lyon exploring the Cote du Rhone wine section. You will taste wines and visit cellars of Cornas and Cote Rotie, and you will enjoy the magnificent areas of the hill of Hermitage. Enjoy the visit of Valrhona chocolate museum.Leave Lyon for a full day tour in the Cote du Rhone Wine area. You will go directly to Cornas, located just before Valence. There you will have a first wine tasting and a visit of the estate.
Drive back to the north, to Tain l'Hermitage, considered as the capital of the Crozes Hermitage wines. You will have time to have lunch either at Tain or at Tournon-sur-Rhone, located just across the bridge.
Then visit the Valrhona chocolate museum, before going to the top of the hill, where you will enjoy a panoramic view on the perched vineyards of Hermitage and the Rhone River. Then, head back to Lyon taking the national road, from where you can admire landscapes and vineyards.
You will have a stop in the Cote Rotie wine section, to enjoy a wine-tasting and visit the estate.
