From there we cycle through Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona before making our way to the Pantheon.
On our way back to the Colosseum and starting point, we pass the beautiful building of the Vittoriano. At night this is splendidly lit up and makes for the best backdrop for photos.

Downhill to the Circus Maximus and over onto the other side of the arena.
Up the Aventine hill to the Garden of the Oranges and the Keyhole of Rome, providing that there are not too many people standing in line to catch a glimpse thought the opening!
Another downhill to the Piramide and we start to cycle alongside the walls to the quarter Testaccio, an exciting area for clubbing and culture lovers.
As we pass back towards to the center of Rome, we cycle down to the river front, passing under the bridge of Ponte Palatino to get a great view up close of the Tiber Island. Up to street level and we begin to cycle through the most famous of Romes residential quarters Trastevere.
Finding our way through the maze of streets to the main square Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere brings out the charm of this medieval quarter. Before leaving, we will stop for an aperitivo at a trendy bar called "Freni e Frizione".
Crossing over to the Historic Center, we make our way through two more of Rome's famous squares: Campo de Fiori and Piazza Navona. Heading to the Pantheon, we pass the house of the Senate.
Our last stop on the tour before we head back to the Colosseum is in Piazza Venezia in front of the Vittoriano monument.
