Your itinerary may be arranged as follows:
- Pick up 8:00am at the gangway of the ship, the driver of your private vehicle will have a sign with your name on it
- Head to Rome (the drive will take approx. 1 hour 20 minutes)
- Stop at the Colosseum to admire and take pictures
- Head to the Circus Maximus
- Overview of Palatine Hill, the Palace of the Roman Emperors
- Overview of the Roman Forum and the City Hall
- The Vittoriano Monument - Unknown soldier shrine
- The Pantheon
- The Trevi Fountain
- Spanish steps
- Time for lunch in a typical, affordable trattoria for a quick pizza or spaghetti (lunch at your own expense)
- Saint Peters Square
- Leave the city before the big cruise buses, embark the ship in time
- You should arrive at the ship by 5:00pm
