The Markthal,
The first covered market in the Netherlands, it is a place where good food and unique housing are harmoniously combined in a spectacular arch. In the Markthal you can buy very unusual products, as well as the basic products you need daily. Come and see for yourself the 96 unique stalls and 20 shops and restaurants. Take your time for lunch(included in price). The Market Hall is built on top of a fourteenth-century buried village in the Polder of Westnieuwland. This polder was surrounded by water and dykes to protect the polder during high-tide. During the building of the Market Hall, a tenth-century farm was found 7 metres under the ground. Within the house were two stoves and a few fireplaces. The farm was part of a village before Rotterdam, named Rotta, after the river Rotte. The inhabitants of Rotta were farmers, craftsmen and traders. Several foundations on the site are now exhibited next to the central staircases underneath the Market Hall.

The Euromast,
In the sixties, the Euromast was 101 meters high. This was sufficient to tower above the skyline of the City on the Meuse. However, Rotterdam's pride was taken over by other buildings left right and center. In 1970, Euromast retaliated. The addition of the Space Tower meant another eighty-five meters up. So go to the top of Rotterdam and enjoy the view.

Port of Rotterdam,
A new part of the Netherlands and a port under construction: this is as close as it gets. Experience for yourself how it feels for the waves, wind and sand to set the stage. FutureLand Information Center unfolds the experience for you. FutureLand offers you a unique meeting and reception location on a most unusual spot in the middle of the Maasvlakte 2 construction work. Make use of the VIP Deck, the comfortable space on the upper floor of the information center. The glass wall provides a non-stop panorama of Maasvlakte 2 in construction.
