Caving adventure in the heart of a mountain where you will explore majestic caverns while you walk and swim through an underground river.You will be picked at 7am from your hotel in Cuernavaca. Then, you will be driven for about 1 hour and 40 minutes before arriving to the starting point in the Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park. Guides will then provide you with the certified equipment for the activity which includes: wetsuit, helmet and a headlamp.
You will do a 20 minute trek before getting to the entrance of the cavern. There, you will explore the inside of this impressive cave while you walk and swim through the Chontalcoatlán underground river in complete darkness. You will appreciate the stalactite and stalagmite formations along the way.
At the end of the tour you will be taken back to your hotel.
