Join St Nick on the 1916 #1 Special Carrousel at Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum. Enjoy an afternoon of fun, festive crafts, games, hot chocolate and treats.
A fun family afternoon awaits with Santa on the Carrousel. Delight the children as they ride with St Nick. The afternoon is filled with festive crafts, games, hot chocolate and treats. Each afternoon will have a special holiday performance beginning at 1:00 PM.
The Herschell companies in North Tonawanda (20 minutes from Niagara Falls NY) produced over 3,000 hand carved, wooden carousels. Many of Herschell’s carousels were portable with simply carved horses, meant to be used by traveling carnivals. They were shipped all over the country. Today 71 of the 148 antique, hand-carved wooden carousels still in existence in the United States and Canada were made by Herschell.
