We discover the friendly nature of the locals, and we have time to shop and visit the places of most interest, Auditorio de Tenerife, Plaza de España, Iglesia de la Concepción, Calle de la Noria and the surrounding areas.The tour focuses on the city of Santa Cruz, located northeast of the island, between the Anaga Massif and its own bay. Founded on May 3rd in 1494, Santa Cruz is the place where the conqueror of Tenerife (Advanced Fernández de Lugo) nailed a cross, a historical event that gives the city its name. Since 1833 Santa Cruz was the sole capital of the Canary Islands. Sana Cruz port is one of the busiest in the Atlantic as it communicates Europe, Africa and America.

In 2012, the British newspaper The Guardian named Santa Cruz the fifth on the list that included the world's best cities to live in. In the so-called Zona Centro ( streets Castillo, San Jose or Viera y Clavijo , among others) or Zona Rambla ( Rambla de Pulido , calle Ramón y Cajal) have many shops. Today the city has about 200,000 inhabitants.

Work of the controversial architect Santiago Calatrava, the Auditorium of Tenerife has established itself as a symbol of bold contemporary architecture in the Canary Islands and also the rest of Spain. Head Tenerife Symphony Orchestra , has two chambers: chamber and symphonic. The building with its prominent wing is located in the northeast of the Marine Park.

Plaza España brings emerging lake fountains, park pavilions in which cafes , restaurants , shops and bars, and parking area are located. Here the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife is also found . The celebration of the popular and acclaimed Tenerife Carnival ( Festivity of International Tourist Interest ) has its hub in this public space and its surroundings .

Built in Baroque style canary on which is the foundations of the first chapel built by the conquerors, the Church of the Conception is the main temple of the city and pays homage to St. James.
