Make the most of your visit to Bayahibe and discover the underwater world of the Caribbean Sea! Have a chance to see different fish and impressive corals during your boat dives that start directly from the hotel beach. You must have evidence of being a certified diver on the day of your trip.If possible, please come to the office one day prior to the dive to fill out a registration form and medical statement. Don't forget to bring your dive certification and logbook. At this time, you will also try on your diving equipment and schedule your dives with staff. Please note that if you haven't dived for more than 12 months, you should book a pool check.
The boat departs directly from the hotel beach and all of the local dive spots are reachable within a maximum of a 15 minute boat ride. You will dive under the supervision of a professional, certified PADI instructor/divemaster who will take care of you and do his or her best to show you the most interesting fauna and flora of the Eastern Atlantic such as the eagle ray, common stingray, moray eel, common spiny lobster, crab and different types of corals. You will visit different dive sites (2-3 dives per day) that will show you the diversity of the underwater world of Bayahibe! You can choose from dive sites such as through corals, relaxing shallow waters or exploring shipwreck sites like the St George wreck (advanced level required). The Atlantic Princess wreck is suitable for beginners because it is only at a depth of 12-15 meters.
If you don't have your private dive gear, please book the activity option including the rental. In addition, you will be able to choose between 3, 5 and 10 dives.
