Enjoy a full day wildlife sea kayak tour encountering sea lions and little penguins off the islands of Shoalwater Bay, Seal and Penguin Islands or Point Peron (depending on seasonality). Experienced guides, stable double sea kayaks, lunch and everything you'll need is included.A 45-minute drive south from Perth is Shoalwater Marine Park; a beautiful bay with several limestone islands. Meet your fellow travelers for the day and receive all the equipment needed for your day of exploring.
The first paddle is to Seal Island (approximately 0.6-miles or 1-kilometre), where you will see Australian Sea Lions. Under the conditions usually experienced (light easterly breeze) this section will take about 15-minutes. Your itinerary will then depend on what time of the year you are traveling.

Point Peron (June - Mid September)
Continue to Gull Rock to spot for osprey nests, then to Bird Island viewing nesting pelicans, cormorants and spotting other sea birds that live in the park. Finally, stop at Point Peron for a healthy picnic lunch prepared by your guides. After lunch, set to explore Point Peron, viewing some amazing rock formations and breathtaking natural beauty. Paddle back towards Penguin Island and finally back to the shore.

Penguin Island (Mid September - May)
Paddle approximately 30-minutes (1.2-miles/2-kilometers) to Penguin Island where you land and have an excellent picnic lunch, followed by a visit to the Penguin Centre where some Penguins are fed. After this people can fall asleep under a tree or in the sun, snorkel, swim, do some more kayaking, or go exploring the coast and caves of the island, whatever you wish. Depending upon time on the day, your guide may lead a nature walk around the island to discover the many and varied shellfish, starfish, crabs, sea birds (including a Pelican Colony), lizards, dolphins and some great views of the bay.
