Please note: This is a hop-on hop-off self-explore touring optionJoin a standard day tour giving you access to the more remote parts of the Grampians and stay two or three nights in the heart of the Grampians, Halls Gap. By choosing the overnight options, you have time to explore the many hiking trails leaving from the town that you wouldn't have time for on the day tour. Wake up with Kangaroos and Emus at your window and the sound of morning Magpies and Kookaburras.

Situated roughly 3 hours to the west of Melbourne, you will leave bright and early heading over the Westgate Bridge to begin the journey. You will go through the gold fields of Victoria before stopping at the country town of Beaufort for morning tea. Continuing the drive you begin to get your first glimpse of the Grampians as they tower above the plains of Western Victoria.

Driving along the Mt William Range, the tour makes its way into the National Park with your first stop being Brambuk Cultural and Information Centre. Hear and discover the stories, history and connection the local Indigenous have with the Grampians.

From here it's in to the main town of the Grampians, Halls Gap where you will enjoy lunch and kangaroo spotting before making your way into the mountains to Boroka Lookout. Here you will overlook Halls Gap and the Western Plains of Victoria. A short drive away sees the group taking an easy walk through the bush-land to the geological wonder known as the Balconies, or the Jaws of Death! with beautiful views over the Victoria Valley. Further into the mountains takes us to Mackenzie Falls. Over 200 stairs will take you to the bottom. Isolated in its own beauty, relax your mind and body at the base of the falls.

The tour will drive back into Halls Gap and drop you at your accommodation while the rest of the tour returns to Melbourne. You will return to Melbourne either 2 or 3 days later. Simply the best way to explore the Grampians.
