Meet at the shop in Seward or get picked up from your hotel and head out to the Lowell Point Recreation area, just south of Seward. Unload and outfit the kayaks with the proper gear, including dry bags and zip-lock bags to keep your belongings dry. You'll use stable double kayaks that feature compartments to stash your items. Receive a safety instruction and then hop in your kayak.

Paddle south along the coast behind your guide while viewing energetic otters, salmon-hunting eagles, the occasional coastal black bear and elusive mountain goats. Along the way, stop to rest, grab a snack and enjoy the scenic views of various alpine glaciers.

Continue to Caine's Head, the former site of Fort McGilvray, built during World War II. Dock at North Beach and stretch out, have lunch and enjoy hot drinks. You have the option to hike up to Fort McGilvray, with sweeping views of Cape Resurrection.

After your time at this historic and beautiful site, paddle back to Lowell Point to conclude your tour. Your tour lasts 8 hours, and you'll kayak for a total of 5 hours. You'll then be taken back to your hotel.
