Enjoy a day trip to Cairo from Alexandria Port. This guided tour includes lunch, entrance fees and a visit to the complex of Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, Egyptian Museum, and oldest market in Cairo known as Khan El Khailily. You will then be returned to your cruise ship in Alexandria.
Meet your guide and start a 3 hour drive in an air conditioned car to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo start with a visit to the complex of Giza the pyramids and the tombs of the old kingdom such as Cheops pyramid. This is the only remaining one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Move onto view the amazing Sphinx a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren.
You will then have lunch at the pyramids area before driving to the East bank of the River Nile into the heart of Cairo. There you will visit the Egyptian museum and the collection of King Tutankhamen before going to Khan El khailily market. You will then be driven back to your cruise ship in Alexandria.
