Discover the unique experience of seeing an olive oil mill where you will learn about the varieties of oils and how they are made. Our driver will collect you from the port of Malaga where you will begin your approximately 45 minute journey to Olive Oil Mill located in the Montes de Malaga nature park.
The drive will take you through some beautiful andalusian countryside dotted with typical white villages and a landscape full of olive, orange, almond and avocado trees. The 2 hour tour will begin with a breakfast of toast, olive oil, fruit and drinks in the beautiful renovated old cortijo, or farmhouse. You will walked through the olive groves where you will learn about the cultivating and harvesting of olive trees. You will then be shown the production process of pressing the olives and how olive oil is extracted and stored. You will learn to distinguish between the different types of oil and their health benefits. You will then be driven back to Malaga to board your ship for departure.
