Sibelius Finland Experience is an authentic cultural live music experience for anyone wanting to learn more about Finland. This inspiring one hour high quality musical and visual production presents Finland and the Finnish identity with Sibelius’ famous compositions Finlandia, Kuusi, Romance, Rondino and Valse Triste. Performed by some of the best musicians in Finland in co-operation with the world famous Sibelius Academy and supervised by Professor Erik T. Tawaststjerna as an artistic advisor. The narrated performance is a visual composition of beautiful images of Finland and selected graphic illustrations by Erik Bruun, Professor of Art and Design. His award winning graphics will guide everyone to understand the importance of nature to Finnish identity - in the very same way as Jean Sibelius' compositions do.

You, your guests and family are welcomed to Kansallissali, National Hall from 1901 by famous Finnish architects Gesellius, Lindgren and Saarinen. The concert takes place in one of the most beautiful buildings of national romantic style in Finland. The artist Hilda Flodin's famous lime stone sculptures on the street level invite your guests to memory of a lifetime. Kansallissali – National Hall is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Sibelius Finland Experience is suitable to all ages.

Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) is the national composer of Finland and his works give an insight into Finnish identity and its formation. As a composer he presents the late Romantic period. The core of Sibelius's oeuvre is his set of seven symphonies. Sibelius used each successive work to further develop his own personal compositional style. His works continue to be performed frequently in the concert halls all around the globe. He is one of the most recorded artists in the world. His masterpiece Finlandia is played and sung every day in some part of the world. Jean Sibelius is historically and internationally the most famous Finn. His works inspire composers, conductors and touch thousands of people every day. The relation to the nature of Finland and its people is tangible.
