Skytsborg tower, built in 1679, was once used as a lookout to identify enemy ships entering the harbor. As you climb the spiral staircase, you’ll quickly reach the top and find a one-of-a-kind view of Charlotte Amalie harbor, as well as St Croix and Puerto Rico.
On the other side of the tower is the magnificent pool at Blackbeard's castle. Relax and swim while enjoying the spectacular view of Charlotte Amalie Harbor. Changing rooms are provided.

Next you will arrive at Villa Notman, one of the most breathtaking villas in the entire Caribbean. It was originally built in 1860 and has been fully restored. When you enter, you will find the great room with deep brown mahogany wood floors, light yellow walls and French doors that open to the white cast-iron balcony. The villa’s incredible balcony was imported from New Orleans and showcases the utmost impressive detailing. One can relax in the small private swimming pool just behind the master bedroom. As you exit the estate, you will find the sculpture of The Three Queens. These beautiful bronze sculptures depict three former female slaves who led a revolt against the Danish government in 1878. Next, visit the Haagensen Manor House, a restored 19th-century Danish banker’s house that is believed to have the most beautiful interior of all the homes on the island. The stunning balcony boasts yet another panoramic view of Charlotte Amalie harbor. Each room is perfectly decorated with antique furniture and art. Climb down to the first floor where you will encounter nineteen life sized pirate statues. This is one of the largest collections of bronze and copper pirate sculptures in the world. Take a selfie with pirates such as Black Bart, Blackbeard and Captain Morgan.

Walk down further, and you will reach The Hotel 1829. This former home was built by a wealthy French sea merchant in 1829. The main floor reveals a stunning courtyard with beautiful “welcoming arms” staircases that frame the world famous Amber Waterfall fountain. This handcrafted fountain is made up of over 12,000 authentic pieces of Amber jewels! It's a sight to see. The historic 99 steps line one side of the building. At the end of the tour you will find yourself steps away from the Waterfront and the Historic Main Street shopping district where you can shop, dine or find a taxi.
