Visit Kyrenia for the very best sea and mountain scenery. This is a coast to coast tour exploring the northern Cyprus. You will visit Bellapais Abbey, enjoy the spectacular views down to Kyrenia on the coast and enjoy free time to walk in the harbor town of Kyrenia.You will be picked up from your hotel in Paphos and driven to Bellapais Abbey, an attractive monastery dating from the early of 13th Century. The Abbey is near Kyrenia in northern Cyprus and is in the picturesque village of Bellapais, also known for being the home of Lawrence Durrell (from 1953 to 1955), author of Bitter Lemons. Whilst there you will discover the history of the Abbey.

Moving on, you will be driven to enjoy the spectacular views down to Kyrenia on the coast and across the northern plains. You will then enter Kyrenia, a harbor town where you will enjoy free time to walk around and have lunch (not included). There is then an optional visit the castle (entrance not included) before being returned to your accommodation in Paphos.
