Enjoy this full-day biking tour to Bat Trang pottery village. Pedal through popcorn and rice fields and typical Hanoi urban villages to Bat Trang ceramic village. Once here, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to make a pottery, to discover a thousand-year old village before either riding further to Van Giang village, a pure agriculture village of the northern Vietnam, see Chau Van traditional music performances and visit traditional ancient houses and learn to cook Vietnamese dishes. This morning your guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer you to the biking house. Choose your bike and after a short briefing about the bike, gears and the biking trail, you will begin your adventure.

You'll cycle through the busy area of the town, arriving Long Bien Bridge, the first steel bridge spanning the Red River in Hanoi, built by the French and named for Doumer, read as though-love (the name of Governor Paul Doumer Indochina).

After crossing the bridge, you'll arrive along side the Red River and cycle along the dyke, through fields and rural villages. After about 2,5 hour cycle, you will arrive in Bat Trang pottery village.

Located on the dykes of the Red River, Bat Trang is popular for being an ancient pottery handicrafts village. Most of the pottery kilns in the village still produce goods in the traditional way, which is similar to the ancient way dating back 700 years.

See the ancient art of ceramic making at a workshop and also have the opportunity to try hand-on activities as a local to teach you how to make simple pottery and can bring home with your results.

After discovering the handicraft village, you'll continue cycling east towards the charming village of Van Giang where you will take part in preparing your meal, then have lunch in a traditional house. After lunch, enjoy a cup of green tea as take part in traditional music performance (Ca Tru Folk Song) at yard.

Enjoy some free time before being picked up by our vehicle and transferred back to your hotel where the tour finishes
