You'll uncover some incredible murals in Lower Manhattan and learn about the history of the famous neighborhoods as well -- all without feeling like a tourist (10 people max!).Start off in SoHo and learn about its evolution from a 19th-century manufacturing zone to New York's first artist colony to one of the trendiest neighborhoods in New York City. Stroll along SoHo’s cobblestone streets and admire its beautiful cast-iron architecture.
Then wind your way through parts of Chinatown and Little Italy as you learn about and admire some of the most beautiful street murals in the city. You'll also learn about the immigrants who shaped these famous neighborhoods.
Finally, stroll through the Lower East Side, once the first stop for millions of poor European immigrants and now a trendy neighborhood with great bars, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and, of course, lots of great street art!
