Limited to 10 people, this small group tour takes you through the heart of the city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to Edinburgh Castle.The historic Royal Mile is the backbone of Edinburgh's Old Town, stretching between the two royal sites - Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

Our route takes us through and around this medieval city from bottom to top - we explore the narrow alleyways dotted along the route, and uncover stories from the city's history and the people who have lived here.

Highlights include Holyrood Palace, Arthur's Seat, the new Scottish Parliament Building, Our Dynamic Earth, Canongate, the Cowgate, St Giles Cathedral, the Grassmarket, and Edinburgh Castle.

Departing from outside the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Abbey Strand at 2.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, the tour finishes outside Edinburgh Castle.
