Join this fabulous wine tour to the famous cellar doors of the Marlborough valley - home of the award winning Sauvignon Blanc. This small group tour visits the Falcon Heritage for an introduction to the endangered New Zealand Falcon and includes a flying display followed by a wine tasting. The Falcon Experience operates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Visit 4 - 5 cellar doors for wine tasting and stop for Lunch at a vineyard restaurant.

Join this fabulous wine tour to the famous cellar doors of the Marlborough valley - home of the award winning Sauvignon Blanc. This small group tour visits the Falcon Heritage for an introduction to the endangered New Zealand Falcon and includes a flying display followed by a wine tasting. The Falcon Experience operates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Visit 4 - 5 cellar doors for wine tasting and stop for Lunch at a vineyard restaurant.At about 10am our knowledgeable local guide will collect you from your accommodation and ask whether you have any preferences for cellar doors to visit. Your fun, flexible and informative tour will start with a scenic drive to the vineyards outside Blenheim with accompanying information on the local viticulture. Stop off at an award winning vineyard for a taste of their delicious wines then move on to the Falcon Heritage center.
Learn about the life and times of the endangered New Zealand Falcon while Fern, the star of the morning, shows off her flying skills overhead. She comes back for her feed and this is the perfect time for photographs. After the display, transfer into the winery for wine tasting among the stunning display of rolling vineyards.
We then move on to lunch at which the local gourmet delicacies of seafood and venison or beef are available. Wine at lunch is at your own cost.
After a relaxing lunch, we take to the road again to visit other exceptional wine cellars in the Marlborough region. Experience the different aromas and fruity undertones imparted into the wines from different sides of the valley, but taste the dedication and passion in every bottle from the award winning wine makers.
At around 3.00pm, you will be delivered safely back to your accommodation.
